DESIGN CHALLENGE:
During the height of COVID shut downs, the PGA TOUR team developed a program for parents to do with kids to help learn about golf. I created the logo, branding system and collaborated with other teams to further the video production.
The logo is meant to channel an educational feel, so I used a slab serif to evoke chalk writing. I offset the letters to seem like a more fluid, natural and inviting initiative. The illustrations are inspired by shapes and arrows you would find both in a classroom and on a golf scoresheet.
RESULTS:
We continued the program for 8 weeks, in which we partnered with various golfers and tournaments to sponsor unique segments. The program was so successful we created a Spanish version. We received a lot of engagement through the website, social media and commercials produced and run on Golf Channel.
